Day 4 - Indianapolis, IN to Youngstown, OH Colorado to Maine motorcycle adventure 2014

I left Indianapolis early this morning with the goal on making it to Niagara Falls.  After looking at the map I once again chose old highways over the interstate and had a great time seeing the farms in eastern Indiana.

As I was cruising through the farm country I saw a sign for the an Orville Wright boyhood home.  I was naturally curious since Orville and his brother Wilbur invented the airplane and I work in aerospace.  I followed the signs down several miles of farm roads and was eventually rewarded with a great museum and history on the Wright brothers.  It was neat to learn that they first had a bicycle business and to see a life size replica of the original Wright Flyer.

After a great tour of the museum it was time to cover some ground so I hopped on the interstate through eastern Indiana and into Ohio.  It wasn't long though before another storm caught me so I hopped off the interstate onto a local highway where there was less traffic.  Even though the local highway was slower I kept moving and was rewarded with a great ride through the rolling hills and Amish farms of Central Ohio.

As night approached I started thinking about where to spend the night and decided for Youngstown Ohio.  About an hour out the rain caught me once again which made the ride slow and cold to Youngstown.
