Even though you are limited to what to can pack on a motorcycle there was still much last minute packing and repacking for me Sunday morning. What tools do I need? Do I really want my camping gear? What about cold weather and rain gear?
Once I was packed I went to a late breakfast with my parents and hit the road to Kansas about noon. The ride across Kansas was unforgiving because there was a constant crosswind. Even though the wind was tiring I was thankful to only be fighting the wind because last October when I rode my motorcycle to California I had to also fight the snow.
Arriving in Concordia about 9:30 PM I was cold and tired. But I quickly warmed up upon seeing my cousin Ron and his family who I spent the night with.
