I left the finger lakes of central New York and worked my
way to the Adirondacks mountains of New York. They were beautiful and surprisingly remote for
being so close to so many people. Then from the east side of Lake Champlain in New York I
caught the ferry to Burlington VT. The ferry ride was 10 miles and took an hour which was a
nice time to relax and enjoy the scenery. Once of the ferry I made a quick cruise of
Burlington wishing it was warmer and that I had more time to hang out. But I had friends to
meet in Montpelier and Woodbury so I pushed on and spent the night in Woodbury.
