Santa Rosa, CA to Lake Tahoe, CA - Day 11 - CO to CA Motorcycle Adventure

I left John and Joanne after a relaxing morning and cut over the mountains to the Napa Valley.  The road was steep and winding.  Just what I like and would also be fun in a car or on a bike.

From there I headed to Vallejo where I met Judy, Dean and their friend Jo at home for lunch.  They moved there from Oklahoma 30 years ago and have a beautiful home near downtown and just across the bay.

I pushed east from Vallejo through the heart of California and into the Sierras where I caught Lake Tahoe in the evening sun.  I was planning to head on east but after some time at the beach I decided to enjoy a night in Tahoe.

I went to the casino that night and checked the tables but all the stakes were to high for me.  So I sat down and played $20 bucks of video poker.  It wasn't long before I was busted but it was a nice break.
